Fatima Azadli
Fatima Azadli is a Master of Public Policy and Management student at the University of Melbourne with a particular interest in climate governance and environmental policy. Her interest in climate work began at COP29 in Baku, where she was part of the COP29 Green Zone programming team, coordinating side events and panels for a range of actors on sustainability and climate action and working across media, venue and protocol teams to support logistics, program agenda and speaker engagement.
She has also gained experience in corporate membership and stakeholder relations while working for a bilateral business chamber of commerce in Azerbaijan, supporting events on topics including ESG, CSR, regional policy dialogue and women's empowerment, as well as engagement between international companies and government bodies. This experience further sharpened her interest in studying policy. She spent a year in Germany as a European Solidarity Corps volunteer, working closely with NGOs, universities and institutions on biodiversity, climate justice, inclusive urban planning, placemaking and youth participation projects funded under Erasmus+ and Horizon across the EU.
Fatima holds a Master of Arts in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management from Yildiz Technical University, Türkiye and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language Teaching from Azerbaijan University of Languages.
